Born and raised in Toronto, Canada I come from a Jamaican and British background. When I was about 12 years old, I tried my hand at acting and absolutely loved it. In school, I enjoyed going to drama class because I could let loose and become different characters. I took an interest in modeling after the first fashion show I did in my highschool. I felt so relaxed, and I loved grabbing the audiences attention. I decided to have a go at it, and went to a few modeling agencies within Toronto. Everywhere I went, they would tell me that I was very pretty, but I just wasn't tall enough. I kind of gave up on my dream of becoming a model and instead did some work as a background actor, until I started doing some urban fashion shows within the city. While many of my modeling buddies kind of fell off the bandwagon and stopped pursuing their goals, I chose to press on. I decided to find a market that would accept my appearance. Obviously I didnt fit into the same category as the blond, tall, and skinny types that were in high demand, so I looked elsewhere. I discovered the world of urban models, as well as the website and fitness modeling industries. I finally found my niche!! Which brings me to today.... To this date I have worked with some of the best photographers in the industry...Robert Fein, Shawn Dowdell and Dain Burroughs just to name a few. (Not bad for a young lady from Toronto, eh?). Most of the modeling that I do is in the U.S. However, when I am back at home I work as a spokes model for Canadian clothing designer, Rmoi. I've put in a lot of work to get where I am right now, but I still have a lot of work to do. It's a tough industry, but I look forward to accomplishing my goals because I love what I do, and I'm determined to take this as far as I can.
