Default Suppose you are attending graduate school at Syracuse University, can you join

the college basketball team? If you are attending grad school, can you attend a club or team of that same school?

I would contact the administrative staff behind the basketball team to make sure that graduate students are eligible. My guess is that they will let you try out but favor undergraduates when making picks. I'd be more worried about the workload you're going to have as a graduate student. Having time to commit to a college sports team sounds very unlikely. That's why all the football team members choose really easy majors like Sociology for their undergraduate degrees (at least at my school).

A good alternative would be taking an undergraduate physical ed course that focuses on basketball while you're working on your graduate degree. You'll still get to play in a competitive environment without the pressure and commitment required when representing the school.
